DARREN

What is the value that I add to JP/area of specialization?
I am passionate about working with Business Leaders to find innovative ways to improve their team or company’s performance. Working with Leaders and their teams to improve their ability to lead and deliver their strategy is my game!

What do you need to know about me?
We know that businesses need to continuously adapt and change for them to grow. This is only possible through Leaders who have clarity of direction, and with teams that are fully aligned and committed to their goals. I enjoy working with Leaders and teams that are striving to grow themselves, their teams, and their businesses. I believe there is value in keeping things simple and pragmatic – Leaders should focus their energy on tackling the big challenges that enable exponential growth or improvement.  What I like most is to see the people I work with and their businesses succeed, and to work with Leaders who want to be better Leaders. What I hate most is wasted opportunities, and not having the courage to make bold decisions and take decisive action.

Words the team use to describe me?
Grounded and clear, personable, hard-working and focussed. Strong-willed, listens more and says less. I could be a little more creative, but I work with an awesome bunch of people that help me keep things exciting!

ANISHA

What is the value that I add to JP/area of specialisation?
My passion is to work with Business Leaders who are serious about transforming their organisations through building a company’s culture in a way that empowers the organisation to thrive through its people and teams. I truly believe that leadership is not about being in charge, but rather about taking care of those in your charge so that they are happy and emotionally healthy. This does not mean that leaders need to be soft on their people; rather, leaders need to be humble, demanding and ignite curiosity. A thriving organisation is one where the values spiral into everything that is done and where there is meaning and purpose behind the work.

What do you need to know about me
As an innovative, practical, solutions-driven individual, I adopt an engaging approach to enabling business change. I believe each organisation is as unique as the individuals that make it operate, hence one-size-fits-all solutions would never deliver the return on investment anticipated. I am thus resolute on the co-creation of solutions and ensuring that solutions implemented are sustainable in-house.

I am a registered Industrial Psychologist, holding a BA, BA(Hons) and MA in Industrial Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand. I am currently studying towards my MBA through Henley Business School. I have built my career over the last 13 years working in various industries, specifically financial services, travel and education. I have also successfully built and managed my own private practice, Unnati Consulting. Over my years in Corporate and in Consulting, I have developed deep expertise in talent and performance management, and leadership development.

SALLY

Over my 20-year career, I have provided organisations across industries with expert advice and delivered professional services in relation to assessments, recruitment and selection, employee engagement, position profiling and job grading; leadership development, talent management and retention; performance management and career/succession planning. I spent 8 years as the Human Capital Consulting Manager at the listed Company, Adcorp Talent Resourcing, and later co-founded and acted as the Managing Member of The Assessment Toolbox, providing Human Capital Consulting and Psychometric Assessment Services to organisations across South Africa, a position I held for 9 years. I have worked across industry sectors, including listed and international organisations in the motor, mining, financial services, information technology, professional services, engineering, manufacturing, and retail industries, as well as for state-owned and public sector organisations. Sally has completed an MA (Industrial and Organisational Psychology) and is registered as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA.

KARINA

I’m passionate about people and business.

After working at JP full-time for nine years in the assessment space, I relocated to KZN earlier this year. I now work with JP as an associate, assisting with KZN-based and online assessments. I’m thrilled to be able to continue adding value in this space. Candidates get an opportunity to explore their potential and gain personal insight, and businesses can make informed decisions about their talent pool.

As I say to people ‘with great power comes great responsibility’. You need to understand not only your strengths, but also the areas requiring development. And at the end of the day, love what you do.
