From a kitchen table 25 years ago to boardrooms across Africa.

Joint Prosperity began with four like-minded people around a rather beaten-up old kitchen table. They shared a belief that organisations could be changed for the better by understanding, developing and empowering the people inside them.

The table may have changed, but the belief hasn’t.

Today, our team works with organisations across industries, cultures and borders, bringing together the human insight and business sense needed to make a meaningful commercial difference to your business.

We’ve grown. Our clients have grown. And the work has become more complex. But business will always remain personnel.

Businesses
don’t rise or fall.

Their people do.

Their leaders make calls. Their teams carry the load. Their cultures shape what really happens when things get hard. Businesses crumble or soar based on whether the right people are trusted with the right decisions at the right time.

That’s where we come in.
For the difficult decisions. The hidden tensions. The questions with no obvious answers. For grappling with the complexity that comes with being human.

We’re not here to peddle some neat little fix. Anyone offering you that is just selling something. We’re here to help understand what’s really going on – and to partner with you for what needs to happen next. With kindness. With courage. And with heart.

If our experience has taught us one thing, it’s that exceptional businesses can only be built through exceptional people. And for more than a quarter of a century, we’ve had the best people to help you make that happen. After all, our business is your people.

The Elephant

The African elephant inspires us. It so wonderfully embodies the strength, integrity and vast potential we strive to cultivate. Like a close-knit herd, we too look to build relationships based on mutual respect, shared knowledge and the unique talents of each individual member.

We also draw on the way elephants pass knowledge from one generation to the next

by fostering a culture of continuous learning and shared expertise.

This collaborative spirit, rooted in a deep understanding of the African continent, empowers us to not only adapt to change, but to truly thrive in the face of new challenges.
